SOMETHING BREWING: A TIME TO GET ON BOARD WITH WHAT GOD IS DOING

Greetings, Shore Vineyard.
It feels like something is brewing. The Prayer Course, the first of our ministry prayer Sundays last week, the upcoming Pentecost prayer week. God seems to be at work as our A Time to Pray series develops.
This Sunday, our Assistant Pastor Paulina Kidd and friends from HTB church in London are building on our prayer ministry theme with a new and refreshing look at a prayer model that flows with and enhances what the Father is doing. Let's again come expectant of God's presence and desire to move in our midst.
Alongside this, our children and Seek (and youth on Wednesdays) will continue to focus on prayer, our worship team has a youthful and fresh feel and we'll have plenty of time to catch up and share life together.
Please note, we are not livestreaming this service, so you need to be there in person!
Don't forget, too, our small groups are still exploring the Prayer Course, next week the focus turning to the important topic of contemplation
And we're getting close to transforming our chapel into an open prayer space in the week of Pentecost, now taking bookings to pray in one-hour slots from 5am to 11pm from Monday, June 2, to Saturday, June 7.
Other important things to note:

  • Speaking of Pentecost, more things are happening around the city - including the Auckland combined churches Pentecost prayer gatheringfeaturing our own Sam Harvey (pastor of Bay Vineyard in Napier) at St Paul's in Symonds St on Wednesday, June 4; and the North Shore combined churches prayer and worship night on Sunday, June 8.

  • We also invite anyone who loves to worship to join our Shore Vineyard worship circle on Friday, June 13, 7.30pm, an informal gathering to worship, pray, read scripture and move as the Holy Spirit leads.

  • Plus our Vineyard national conferenceCome Holy Spirit, is in Christchurch from September 24 to 27. We'd love a good group of people from Shore Vineyard to go down, so check out the link and we'll have more information to share soon.

Bless you all. What a privilege to do this together.

Vic Francis, Senior Pastor
